Alzbeta Kucharova has been with the RAUN since its very beginning. She’s a graduate of its first year and has since then been coordinator for the Czech Republic and counseled research teams working mainly on issues of migration, human rights and terrorism.
Alzbeta received her master’s degree in International Politics and Diplomacy from the University of Economics in Prague. She also studied Political Science and Modern History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. She pursued a Ph.D. in International Political Relations. Her research interests include mainly European Affairs (political dimension of the European integration process, with special regard to the foreign and security policy of the EU, the actorness of the EU as well as Great Britain's attitude to the European integration), International Institutions and their influence on both states and non-state actors, Global Governance, and International and European Law.
Alzbeta did an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. During her Ph.D. studies she was involved in various activities and research projects at the Jan Masaryk Centre of International Studies at the University of Economics in Prague.
Since 2015 she has worked at the Section for European Affairs of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic.
