Anikó Szalai
Anikó Szalai is a senior lecturer at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law. She defended her PhD thesis, titled ’The Effect of Armed Conflicts on International Treaties’ – in 2012, and graduated summa cum laude. Her field of research is International Law, especially the law of treaties, international organizations and human rights. She holds lectures and seminars in International Law, International Organizations, Model United Nations and European Union Law, both in Hungarian and in English. She is member of the Hungarian Brach of the International Law Association, the Hungarian United Nations Association and ACUNS. She is one of the founding members of the Regional Academy on the United Nations. She went on study trips to the United Kingdom, United States, Germany and Estonia, and has delivered more than 20 conference presentations and lectures in Hungary and abroad. She published one monograph, one textbook and more than 20 articles.
