My name is Dominika Jelínková and I am a PhD student studying at the Charles University in Prague. I have been living in Vienna, Austria for nearly three years and currently have an internship with the UNODC Civil Society Team. My main interests are women empowerment, human trafficking prevention, and migration. I am able to immerse myself in these passions with my current work to empower trafficked migrant women. I was also accepted into the Regional Academy on United Nations (RAUN) where we are working on a project looking at forced marriages of child refugees. My ultimate goal is to help pave pathways for women and girls who have come from war torn areas to give them a chance at a better life.
