Gabriel Weibl


Gabriel Weibl is part of RAUN since 2017. He is working at the Faculty of Social
and Economic Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava. His research interests are in political communication through social media, as well as in the area of international student mobility and internationalization of higher education with focus on the idea of cosmopolitanism, intercultural competence and communication, knowledge transfer and employability, and queer geography.

Gabriel studied at the National Centre for Research on Europe at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand (BA, BA with Hons., and PhD). As a visiting scholar he attended the Charles University, University of Oxford, the University of Primorska, the University of Valencia and the London Metropolitan University. He also works as a researcher at the Institute for Forecasting - Center of Social and Psychological Sciences at the Slovak Academic of Sciences.
