Mariia Kostetckaia


Mariia (Masha) Kostetckaia is a researcher and a PhD student at the Vienna University of Economics and Business' Institute for Managing Sustainability. Her research focus is on monitoring sustainable development in the European Union.
Mariia holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) and a joint interdisciplinary master’s degree in Global Studies from University of Leipzig (Germany) and University of Vienna (Austria).

As a participant in the RAUN 2017-18 programme her team worked on the research project “Journey of Hazard and Hope: Risks and coping strategies of Syrian women searching for asylum in Austria”. Upon successful completion of the programme, she joined the RAUN coordination team.
