Radim Srsen


Radim Srsen is an Assistant Professor at the Jan Masaryk Centre of International Studies at the University of Economics in Prague. Concurrently, he is Secretary and Member of the Board of the Czech United Nations Association, a member of both  ACUNS and CEEISA. Radim earned his Ph.D. in International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague.

His research, which include global governance and security issues, is primarily focused on the political dimension of the European integration process, with special regard for the role of nation-states, civil society, and public opinion in the process. Furthermore, as a mayor of a municipality, Radim has dealt with the practical aspects of the European integration process. As a Czech representative to the European LEADER Association for rural development, he is engaged in the formation of EU rural development policy.
