Jan Woroniecki


Jan Woroniecki heads the International Relations Chair at the University of Social Sciences, non-public and non-profit higher studies establishment in Łódź and Warsaw, with network covering also medium-size cities in Poland. He has been teaching there for more than 15 years, used to teach also in the Central European University as well as Collegium Civitas and KSAP (“Polish ENA”) in Warsaw. Jan is a retired diplomat who served as Director of the UN department in the Foreign Ministry and twice as Ambassador – Permanent Representative of Poland to OECD in Paris.

Economist by education, he continued in parallel a scientific career, obtaining two degrees in the Warsaw School of Economics and published extensively on international issues, with special emphasis on the United Nations system, UN reform and globalization.
Jan is fond of bringing his university to RAUN.
