Admission to the 2021 Regional Academy on the United Nations

2021 RAUN virtual and in-person (tbc) tentative sessions and dates​
  • 4 main sessions in May, July, September and December
  • 2 social sessions in June and November
  • If the situation allows: final conference at the UN headquarters in Vienna in the beginning of December 2021

Application procedure
The application is open for Masters and PhD students (or equivalent degrees) from all academic fields between the ages of 21 and 30.

Please send the following documents to raun-communications@ra-un.org by 4 April 2021 at 23:59 CET
  • Latest CV (2 pages) in English
  • Motivation letter (one page) in English
  • Completed expression of interest form (download it here)
  • Sample of written academic paper (preferably in English): 
    This could be a BA or MA thesis, a module paper, a paper submitted for a conference, a proposal for a MA or PhD thesis, etc.
  • Transcript of records/overview of university grades
  • 2 names of professors or former employers as references: 
    The listed persons may be contacted to obtain further information about the candidate

Note: All documents should be put together and sent as ONE single PDF file. The name of the file should be named and sent as “Country_first name_last name_RAUN application.pdf”. This means, country where you are applying from, your first and last name, RAUN application. Example: Slovakia_Jana_Novakova_RAUN application.pdf
